OUR STORY

El Pescador is a dream come true. It exists because of the support of our customers, the strong unity of our family,

and the values our parents, Carlos and Isidra Ortiz, passed down to us.

Our story began in 1983, when Manuel Ortiz, the eldest brother in our family, dreamed of owning his own restaurant.

That dream became a reality in Bell Gardens, California. Manuel knew he could count on the support of his brothers,

and especially on the guidance of his father, Carlos Ortiz.

In time, each brother began to share that same dream, and life opened a new path for each of them. Through it all,

the family remained united, holding on to the values, wisdom, and advice of Don Carlos, along with the hardworking spirit and business sense of Doña Isidra Ortiz.

We, the Ortiz Family, Carlos Sr., Isidra, Manuel, Raul, Jesus, Carlos, Chel, Abel, Gustavo, Vicente, Horacio, Victor, and Alejandro, thank God and each one of you for believing in our family and in
